Verification is optional, and not live yet
We plan to offer an identity check you start yourself, at a time that suits you, in exchange for a badge on your profile. It will never be required to hold an account, publish a profile, appear in the directory, or be contacted, and declining will cost you nothing but the badge. It is not available today, so nothing on NaiHive currently collects identity documents.
Nobody will ask you for an ID
Because verification will always be something you begin yourself from your own dashboard, no one at NaiHive will ever contact you asking for a passport, national ID, or a selfie holding a document. Treat any such request as an attempt to defraud you, however convincing it looks.
What the badge means
A badge is applied by our moderation team at its discretion today, and would confirm a completed identity check once verification launches. Either way it does not confirm any profile claim, guarantee a meeting, or replace normal personal-safety precautions.
Judge a profile yourself
Check that photos are consistent, that contact details work before you commit, and that the conversation matches the listing. Report anything that does not add up, and read the safety guidance before meeting anyone.
